, and police officers well depicted . Yes,The villains are so terrible, burning their victims or chopping them up. Yet it all works out with surprising twists and turns. I cheered for the good guys throughout the novel. Hated when the book came to an end.

I LOVE THE SERIES AND WHATEVER COMES WITH IT COMES WITH IT - ALL OK. I LOVE READING THESE AND NO MATTER WHAT I HAVE NEVER BEEN BORED OR EVEN BEEN ABLE TO FIGURE IT ALL OUT. THEY ARE ALL WELL WRITTEN AND I HAVE A HARD TIME PUTTING THEM DOWN TO GET MY WORK DONE. KEEP THEM COMING!!!
This book kept you reading within a midline speed. It draws you into the plot, without drowning your senses. Chapters make one rethink and analyze direction writer had chosen. I feel this book is equally spaced and transition is smooth without long pauses. Very enjoyable read.
Excellent story about college grads that go to extremes in behavior just for the pleasure. A sub-plot about the abuse of power by a member of the "sacred cow" the press that adds to the suspense of the book. This member of the press is trying to either complete a book or make enough money to repay advanced money he received. The means of his capture show great police work.
This is a complicated jury case with many interesting characters. It is also a multiple fiery murder case by unusual perpetrators. It has a most unusual conclusion.
Each book is getting better and better and I'm going BACKWARDS!

Great intrigue, adventure, and excellent story line, with an ending never expected. So hard to believe some people do what they do for kicks, like Hawke and Pidge, but it's also hard to understand others' thinking of why they want to put family and friends through such agony.

Great read that I'd have finished easily in 1 1/2.days if I hadn't been so busy.
Once again, I'm completely impressed. Just like all the previous "Women's Murder Club Books" 7th Heaven was a true page turner. With multiple plot twists and climaxes it kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish and in true Patterson style just when I thought I had the whole mystery solved, in the very last pages it all comes to light.
All in all a great read and a great addition to the series. James, you never fail to entertain, entrance and amaze.
One case has two college boys , Pidge and Hawk robbing rich people and setting their homes on fire. The other case in this book has to do with a prostitute named Junie Moon and one of her clients being a rich kid named Michael Campion, who is reported missing. Joe is now living in San Francisco. He proposed to Lindsay but she hasn't said yes yet. Claire has a baby girl named Ruby Rose.
I love these books and I read them fast. The chapters are short, not to mention the surprising twists that you don't see coming.
