I totally loved the story line and could not put this book down at all, I think my 5 stars given were well earned by S.E Hall, I cannot wait to read the rest of the series.

Evan is your classic home town boy, he is dependable, love able not quite predictable but he is always there for Laney no matter what, and eventually their friendship turns from being just BFF's to being boyfriend and girlfriend and experiencing many firsts between them that will always hold dear to their hearts, but with college looming they try and establish and get ready to have a transitional relationship, that will see lots of hiccups along the way.

Dane is one of the first boys to catch Laney's eye when she gets to her new school, he is funny, witty, mysterious and is extremely nice to her, he makes her laugh, looks out for her and is just generally a nice guy, with a listening ear for all her issues.

What happens next you will have to read, who does Laney chose, Dane or Evan well I'm not sure which camp I'm in but I know I want to see what transpires in the next books.

I absolutely freaking loved this book! Sometimes you don't know why a book just sticks with you and sinks you into oblivion from things around you. This one did just that. When I read the last page and looked up I was like "Oh welcome back to the real world!" LOL
This is a book about wanting everything you ever dreamed of when it comes to love and planning it all out....only to find that well there are other plans in store for you and even if you try to fight them you can't help who you love. This is a story of a girl becoming a woman. A girl finding herself and her true desires. Laney comes to find out that the real world away from the comforts of home and her long time boyfriend isn't as easy as planned. She throws herself in a little bit of depression and we get to see her whiny side and self loathing side, but these are natural feelings that anyone gets when being away from home for the first time. Homesickness sucks! Laney discovers this.
The romance and sex scenes in here are hot! Actually I should say the author did an awesome job at connecting these characters together! From the first interaction we see Laney with both Evan & Dane is spot on! The feelings evoked within the book are believable and the feelings that are brought on by everyone involved are realistic. I have to give applause to that because there's nothing I can't stand more than a romance that just doesn't "feel" real.
There are twists and turns and little drama here and there to complete this book and make it one magnificent piece of work. Thank you for writing something so fantastic that I could get lost in! I give this book my thumbs up!!
This book is so easy to relate to. I love that Laney plays softball! I live and breath softball. You can really feel the emotion that is radiating from the characters. It's happy, sad, frustrating, heartwarming and heartbreaking all at the same time. The book is absolutely captivating and I found it hard to put down. This is one of the best books I have read and I cannot wait to finish the series.

It was nice to see Laney come out of her shell, but it's painful to she her try to desperately cling to her past. She spends to much time in her head which only confuses her more.
This book was funny, steamy and heartbreaking all in one.

Laney is a major tomboy with beauty she doesn't even know she has. When her best friend Evan finally tells her how he feels about her it's time for them to go to college. With hopes of attending the same college ruined because Laney didn't get a full ride like Evan did she decides it's best that separate so it doesn't ruin their friendship. But Evan has it in his head that no matter what Laney is the girl for him and Laney feels the same way about Evan until they actually leave each other for school.

With new friends and new beginnings sometimes there can be gray areas which they both learn quickly.
